Continuing our activities to assist the EECA research organisations to actively participate in EU-funded research in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and following the requests of the Ukrainian researchers in this field, we are in the pleasant position to announce the 3rd Round of Training Workshop that will be organized by EAST-HORIZON project in cooperation with EECA-2-HORIZON project in Lviv, Ukraine, on 26-27 May 2016.

In general the EECA Cluster training workshops aim to assist the most promising EECA research organizations and SMEs in

• acquiring the know-how and contacts in order to develop networks with EU organisations
• exploring and developing initial proposal ideas for future ICT calls
• becoming familiar with research and innovation developments and trends

The main objective of the 3rd Round of Training Workshop is to address the new HORIZON 2020 ICT programme of the European Commission, with special emphasis on presenting a practical path from idea to successful project proposal. Participants are invited to actively participate in the training workshop by drafting their proposal idea to openly present and discuss during the training. This approach aims to take the training from theory to action, and allow participants to have a real feeling on proposal drafting and evaluation. The specific training workshop foresees open discussion on presented proposal ideas and participant's interaction with both the trainers and fellow participants.

The programme of the workshop will cover the following issues:

• HORIZON 2020 general introduction
• Structure and design of a H2020 proposal
• Proposal ideas assessment with interaction with the participants
